Trisha Wong
Los Angeles native chalkboard artist and designer, Trisha Rae Wong, creates unique typography and illustrations with chalk. Her work can be seen around Los Angeles at hip food eateries from Venice’s Tocaya Organica to WeHo’s Cousins Maine Lobster Restaurant. She has also showcased her work at premier wedding and events venues such as the Bel Air Bay Club in Malibu and The Jonathan Beach Club in Santa Monica. Her chalk has also been showcased at Christina Milian’s show Turned Up at her Stop Attack App launch in Downtown Los Angeles. The Science Diet area at Cat Con in Downtown Los Angeles built a 20 foot by 9 foot chalkboard which featured a colorful interactive chalk art where guests could express what kind of ‘crazy cat person’ they are.
Collaboration with Jasper, the craftsman, is necessary when creating larger than life custom made chalkboards. The two first collaborated for the Toyota Scion event in Anaheim. He had seamlessly hand crafted smooth and solid chalkboards for Trisha to draw on both on and off site. Although she has several chalkboards available to draw on she is always open to working on chalkboards provided by the venue or custom built. Trisha is available to create live chalk art during the duration of your event as well as create chalk art prior to set up of your event.
