The San Francisco Jitterbugs

The San Francisco Jitterbugs are a professional dance troupe known for their vivacious and exciting performances. They specialize in the various swing dances, ballroom dances, and other solo and partner dances from the 1920's to the 1990's. These dances include Lindy Hop, Collegiate Shag, Balboa, 20’s Charleston, Ballroom, West Coast Swing, Disco, Rock-n-Roll, Hip-Hop and Go-Go. 

They have been featured dancing in full length motion pictures including Swing The Movie and 24 Hrs. On Craigslist. The San Francisco Jitterbugs have performed in front of 70,000 people during the half time show for the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders. Members of the San Francisco Jitterbugs have won many first place titles including the National Jitterbugs Championships, which has taken them all over the world to teach and perform.

Well known for their educational "dance through time" historical demonstration and performances, the San Francisco Jitterbugs envelop a wide spectrum of lady and fella bugs in the San Francisco Bay, Sacramento and Las Vegas area. The Jitterbugs represent as performers, world champions, reet dressers, balboa fanatics, dixie-fried dudes, vintage vixens, dance instructors, good friends, A-1 cats, cute kittens, sharp noodles and sassy shaggers.
