Taylor Brown
Taylor Brown's songs and performances embody both the stunning diversity of 20th century music and the melodic spirit of romantic classical music. His acoustic, no-gimmicks aesthetic earns him a spot among a proud line of American Folk Musicians. Yet, his raw musical prowess and background provide the substance to set this young artist apart.
As he earned a degree in classical guitar performance from Vassar College, Brown steadily toured with folk musician Kate Taylor (sister of James Taylor). Kate provided him the opportunity to work with legendary musicians (among others, Tom Rush, Levon Helm and Carly Simon), while studying the foundations of Western Music. These experiences, in addition to his prolific solo career, have elevated the lifelong musical craft that he began as a child.
From New York City's Carnegie Hall and Napa Valley's French Laundry, to a 5-star boat on the Mediterranean Sea, Taylor Brown has performed all over the world. He is grateful for each day and every listener.
