Just as a shadow is a representation of its master, Mark Aitken strives for his music to be a shadow of the event for which he is playing. Mark's role is to enhance the experience, to enrich the moment. From background ambience to an attention getting performance, this is what he lives to do. Wholly dedicated to the guitar, Mark has spent years composing, working with other musicians, and expanding his classical repertoire. Primarily focused on music from Latin America and Europe, he is also interested in other diverse genres, ranging from Blues to Flamenco.
