Peggy Gyulai - Live Artist
Peggy creates paintings inspired by music, drawing inspiration for each painting while listening to sound: interpreting the rhythm, mood and form. Peggy has collaborated with The Philadelphia Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, Music Institute of Chicago, and the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra. She was previously artist in residence at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and has work in more than 96+ collections throughout the U.S. and Europe. Her work has been reviewed in the San Francisco Chronicle, SF Weekly, Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Style Magazine, City Paper and she has been featured in WRTI’s Tempo Magazine and on WRTI broadcasts.
Peggy graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Biological Anthropology and later studied painting, drawing and sculpture at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
