Mucho Axe

When singer/songwriter Pepa Quiroga and guitarist/vocalist Edgar Macchiavello began the Mucho Axe project in 2001, their original goal was simply to add new grooves to existing tunes - but the collaboration worked so well, new songs just began appear. Along with bassist Dan McLaughlin and drummer Teerth, they've been creating South American World Grooves - which is basically a booty-moving blend of everything from Tango, Samba and Bossa Nova to Mambo, Cha-Cha-Cha, Reggae and Ska.

As you might guess from their amazingly eclectic influences, they are all about using their musical gifts to unify cultures and bring people together.
