Monica Fimbrez
Monica María Fimbrez is a vocalist, composer and multi- instrumentalist (Guitar, Jarana, Bass & Percussion). She migrated to San Francisco from her hometown of Lodi, CA, where she graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Vocal Jazz and World Music. Since graduating, she has been active in the Bay Area Latin & World scene, performing with various Bay Area bands such as Tarimba (Son Jarocho), Rumbaché (Salsa & Timba), La Gente (Cumbia/Reggae/HipHop), Jesus Diaz y Su QBA (Cuban Salsa/Timba), The Hitsville Soul Sisters (Motown/Soul) and Sol Tevél. She also has had the privilege of studying and performing with esteemed musicians such as John Calloway, John Santos, Jesus Diaz, Sandy Perez, Andres Flores, Patricio Hidalgo and Liche Oseguera Rueda.
