Miranda Chen - Fashion Sketch
Originally born in San Francisco, Miranda studied Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City where she kicked off her career in fashion for seven years before returning to San Francisco.
Using various creative mediums to sketch fashion portraits, Miranda’s work spans from live sketching for global luxury companies such as Jimmy Choo, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Salvatore Ferragamo and Bloomingdales to custom illustrations for private clients across the globe. She has also worked with local partners like The Battery for their special events. Each sketch takes a few minutes to complete. Occasionally, she seizes opportunities to create fashion figures using unexpected materials including popcorn, cheesecake, post-it’s– whatever inspires her at that moment in time.
