Mango and Dango

Mango and Dango are often times trotting the globe looking for new inspiration and ideas. They began their performance career in 2002 by creating and performing in community art events and parades in Southern CA. They quickly realized their passion for ground level community involvement through performance art and began seriously pursuing physical-theater, dance, and circus arts.

Intrigued by the timeless art of street theater Mango and Dango began co-creating theatrical circus vignettes. The next year they began a year-long street performance tour of Europe and Central America. A year later and Mango and Dango had performed their awe-inspiring theatrical circus show in theaters, charity events, schools, museums, street theater festivals and nightclubs throughout Europe, Central America, and the United States.

By using these global experiences, they create every Mango and Dango show by manifesting their ideas, collected energy and imagination into one of a kind circus stories, sharing their passion and enthusiasm of life’s endless possibilities with every audience by finding the comedic subtleties in everyday situations. They are known to wow the audience with breathtaking technical skills and bringing laughter and danger together for a pas-de-deux of chance and circumstance.

The Mango and Dango show is able to cross cultural boundaries, dares to excite,and continues to re-define the circus medium.
