Mandonna

A group of men called Mandonna are crossing gender lines to pay their respects. Formed in 2003 in San Francisco, CA, after seeing several all-female tribute bands. Their slogan is "The all-male tribute to the Material Girl!"

The band mostly plays Madonna's hits from the 1980s, like "Borderline," "Like A Virgin," and "Holiday." Along with the vocal differences, the band uses traditional bass and guitars instead of Madonna's electronic instrumentation.

People are knocking down club doors and booking them for events for a chance to rock out with them. They have been featured on Howard Stern and in Maxim Magazine.
