Lucy Clearwater (18), is a singer-songwriter born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. At a young age, she developed a strong passion for music and with self-determination, picked up guitar, ukulele, and piano. She's also classically trained in violin since age 4, to which she partially credits her perfect pitch.
At age 12, Lucy won 1st place in California and 2nd place in the nation for the PTA Reflections competition for musical composition and performed her winning song in front of an audience of thousands at the Anaheim Convention Center. And at age 16, she won her local "Lamorinda Idol." For the first three years of high school, Lucy was deeply involved in the choir program, strengthening her harmonization skills as well as acing AP Music Theory. While still in high school, she built her own business teaching voice, piano, guitar, violin, and ukulele — as well as teaching for established music schools. Lucy graduated high school a year early so that she could focus on pursuing her music career and went on to complete courses in songwriting, music business, and ProTools at Diablo Valley College.
With over 50 original songs, lots of experience performing at corporate events, weddings, public and private events, and a life-long dream of a being a top musical performing and recording artist, she packed her things and moved to Los Angeles. Here she writes music every day, performs at bars, clubs, and events at night, collaborates with other musicians and continues to live her dream.
