Kenny Washington

This virtuoso vocalist has a breathtaking range that spans more than four octaves, a playful, free approach, and intonation so precise that it becomes noticeable if the piano wasn't tuned that day. A native of New Orleans, Kenny grew up singing Gospel in church, and he's equally adept at Blues and Jazz. After graduating from high school, he attended Xavier University, where he studied styles ranging from traditional and contemporary jazz to classical, rhythm and blues and pop.
