Julio Bravo

Celebrating 15 years of fiery live concerts with his Orquesta Salsabor, Peruvian singer/songwriter/bandleader Julio Bravo continues to be one of San Francisco's favorite salsa acts. Festive, exotic, and upbeat, this group's bouyant beats have been engaging crowds and filling dance floors around the Bay Area for years. Sample a few seconds from their latest CD and you'll hear what we mean. In 2004, Julio returned to Lima to record his first salsa CD, 10 Años de Salsa, which features 5 original compositions and the contributions of the talented trombonist Paul Lyons, an original member of Orquesta Salsabor.
