Doran Danoff

Doran Danoff is an emerging indie soul & rock artist from Los Angeles, CA with a piano based sound that fuses blues, rock, jazz and folk with modern songwriting and soul-shaking vocals. Doran performs regularly throughout the U.S. and abroad, performing with his original band, as well as with his jazz ensemble. In addition, he leads a corporate and private event band that features soul, rock, blues and Top 40 hits.

Doran has collaborated with many major and indie artists including John West (Island/Def Jam), David Poe, Bryan Greenberg, Matt White, Sahara Smith (Playing In Traffic Records), ZZ Ward, Leslie Stevens, King Wilkie (Rounder Records), amongst many others. He has written & produced songs for artists including Bryan Greenberg, Magdalena Mielcarz, LIZ, Ruby Wilder, XV (Warner Bros), Laura Leavitt, and Jon Dos.

As a composer, Doran's work has been used in film, television, and online media including original musical scores to several award-winning films and documentaries shown in festivals throughout the world. He has also had original compositions commissioned for modern dance, performance art, and interactive multi-media works.
