DJ Philip Quinaz (PQ)

Philip Quinaz (PQ) was born and raised in Miami. His early years of radio obsession and rocking house parties as a teen led him to the Northeast to hone his skills on Emerson College's radio station 88.9 WERS. After 4 years on the airwaves of Boston, countless radio-sponsored events, shows, college parties, and club gigs, PQ moved to New York City in 2004. PQ's been working full-time as a DJ ever since, establishing himself among the DJ community as a party-rockin' genre-blending crowd pleaser with a serious music IQ. From his 6 year residency at Franklin Park in Brooklyn, named "The Best No Cover Dance Party" by Time Out NY to his popular dance party "Revival" DJing alongside DJ veteran Rich Medina, PQ has become highly sought out in the DJ community.

He's performed for the likes of Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova, Matt Bomer, Zachary Quinto, Jimmy Fallon ... and shared the stage with Amy Winehouse, Sharon Jones, the Animal Collective, Yo Majesty, the Ting Tings (to name a few) ... His experience is over 15 years deep. He's DJed special events & weddings around the world from Rome to Portugal to Costa Rica. A-list to no-list, his DJ sets are guaranteed to make you shake a leg. PQ also curates & programs music for hotels, restaurants, & bars along with consulting and supervising music for Television, Film, & Advertising. He's recently a transplant to Los Angeles where he hopes to continue to make dance floors move.
