Caitlin Margot

MARGOT has been playing the violin since she was four years old. After 15 years of classical training, she moved to New York City. Soon after, Margot was writing and performing string arrangements on records for artists like Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Sklyar Grey, Sam Sparro and touring arenas with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. 

During this time, she met DJ Mia Moretti and they formed a band called The Dolls. Together, the duo toured the world opening for Katy Perry, Eve, Janet Jackson, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, and have performed inside the Louvre, Guggenheim Musem and The National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C.. Their latest release entitled Club Soda was produced, written, arranged and performed by Margot.

Margot has also scored compositions for Nike Women, the Whitney Museum, American Express, Barneys NY, Elle, and film trailers such as The Homesman (featuring Tommy Lee Jones & Meryl Streep) and 50 Shades of Grey. This July, Margot released her debut solo album with Amazon Music, entitled “The Apartment on Third Street”.
