Andre dos Santos Morgan

Based in Northern California, Andres's music features a blend of soul, folk, and jazz. Andre’s soft, soothing sound is uniquely original. His music comes from his heart. As a musician, Andre dos Santos Morgan has written jazz, rock, funk, blues, gospel, cabaret, country, soul, and folk. Andre learned to love music as a young child. In high school, Andre decided to become a professional musical performer and lived in New York for many years performing live on stage and in film work.

Andre has performed with many different groups, including The New York Contemporary Dance Spectrum, The New York Jazz Ensemble, Rhythm-Motion, The Frank Canino Band, and Victor Lessor & Friends, André & The White Boys and  The André Morgan Band. For 5 years, André was the artist-in-residence for New York University's Music Recording Department, where he collaborated with and became great friends with Professor David Sanders. Since 2000, Andre has frequently toured with Holly Near (hollynear.com) and is currently a member of her Peace Becomes You Band.
