Paul Mehling

A professional musician since the age of 11, Paul Mehling plays the guitar, violin, tenor, plectrum banjo, string bass, mandolin and vocals. He is a leader of the Hot Club of San Francisco, producer of 3 instructional DVDS on HomespunVideos (guitar lessons), named by PBS as the "father of gypsy jazz in the US." He has 12 CD recordings under the name of Hot Club of San Francisco. Mehling also plays in a variety of settings from blues to swing to New Orleans.

His solo guitar playing is perfect for background music or center-stage concert appearances. Playing standards from all eras of the American as well as light classical, Brazilian, and beautiful original compositions. He can play acoustic or electric.
