Not so long ago, in the heart of a particularly fat jam session, two grown choir boys decided to create a funknroll band. When they found a Swedish American, vegan bass player with a secret handshake, the journey began. Along the way, they picked up a rowdy, trumpet-wielding brother, a fierce keyboard sorceress, and a pair of lifelong groove specialists. For three fateful years, the Fatties have wandered many sonic lands, sharing their learnings and light with the good people of the Bay and beyond.
In 2017, the band took a first shot at capturing their “burning live spirit” (Dave Watts, The Motet) with debut record, “where are you” - a brazen rampage through the wildly colorful and chaotic range of life. In 2018, More Fatter teamed up with Grammy-winning producer, Michael Starita (Childish Gambino, A Tribe Called Quest, Phife Dawg, Third Eye Blind, Michael Franti & Spearhead) and audio engineer Jamieson Durr (Sammy Hagar, Chickenfoot, Joe Satriani), to coax two new singles into being.
More Fatter has big plans for 2019, with a single dropping in January and two EP’s coming out soon, as well as a rapidly growing itch to pack up their sounds and hit the ol’ dusty trail around the US. Stay tuned folks, lovin is livin! The band is Tommy Economou, Mark Fedronic, Theo Fedronic, Christina Galisatus, Justin Palaad, and Anthony Puducay.
