Miles Schon

Marin County born and raised Miles Schon has been performing in the San Francisco Bay area during the past several years at festivals and established venues including George’s, Fenix Live, and Peri’s. Miles’ debut EP Miles of Will includes original songs in the tradition of blues, funk and rock and roll, which he co-wrote and produced with Bill Champlin. Miles can play beautiful fiery guitar solos that excite his audiences with his sheer blazing speed, yet with a soulful quality. Miles cites his influences as Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton and Santana. 

Miles is the son of Neal Schon, Journey founding member and guitarist of Journey. Miles is also a professional teacher, session guitarist and recently completed recording with Madison Cain, daughter of Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain. Miles and Madison just finished performing six dates in Japan opening for Journey in March 2013. Miles recently finished a professional video shoot for Fractal Audio Effects Processors, which will be featured on their website in late April 2013.
