Maikaze Daiko

Maikaze Daiko is one of the premiere Taiko (Japanese Drumming) performance groups in the Bay Area. Founded in 2007, the group has performed throughout California for clients that have included the Consul General of Japan, Google, Sony Playstation, SEGA, and In ’n Out Burgers. They were an honored guest at the International Taiko Festival. Directed by internationally recognized Taiko Artist, Bruce Mui Ghent, the group also includes a variety of traditional Japanese instruments in their repertory to create a rich cultural aspect to their performances along with a visually stunning and highly visceral presentation that makes an impact on audiences everywhere.
