Kevin Russell

The Motor City born and raised Kevin Russell has a very unique blend of rock and soul. Kevin says: "It's a Motor City thing!" Kevin is a contemporary artist known in hip musical circles and by fans worldwide. He is a provocative player and his daring spirit is always apparent.

Moving to Hollywood to follow his dream, Kevin formed the now classic rock band 707.  Later in the 80's Kevin joined forces with Billy Kreutzman and Brent Midland (Grateful Dead) to form Kokomo. They played sold out show after sold out show all around the U.S. Next Kevin got together with Stray Cats members Slim Jim Phantom & Lee Rocker. The band scored an MTV & rock radio favorite "Men Without Shame."

Kevin and Clarence "The Big Man" Clemons became good pals in the Bay Area. They put a touring band together—The Red Bank Rockers—and hit the road. Playing to sold out crowds across the U.S., their shows would often feature special guests like Joe Walsh, Ringo, Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen, Jackson Brown, Jon Bon Jovi, and Ritchie Sambora.

During this period Kevin was also getting calls to play on other artists records, films and TV such as; Whitesnake, Clarence Clemons, Sea Hags, F. Machine, Levi's 501 Blues, Murder In Greenwich, Fall Into Darkness, Weird Science, No Small Affair, Nightmare on Elm St. Pt III and IV, and much more.

In the 90's Kevin concentrated on playing rock/blues and producing many other rock/blues records for artists which included; Steve Hunter (David Lee Roth), Pat Travers, Leslie West, Frank Marino, Rick Derringer, Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big/David Lee Roth), George Lynch (Dokken), Ritchie Kotzen (Poison), Zakk Wylde (Ozzy), Steve Lukather, (Toto) and Stu Hamm (Joe Satriani).
