JenDM - HI FASHION

Born in NY, Jen DM grew up on freestyle, hip hop, new wave, no wave & punk music. Attending the infamous Body & Soul parties in TriBeCa as a young queer adult informed and inspired Jen to explore queer house, disco, club, and techno from Chicago, NYC, & Detroit, and the convergence of all the sounds combined informs the tone, sensibility, and energy that surges through Jen’s sets today.

She is also a founding member of the electropop duo, Hi Fashion, with which she toured extensively worldwide for a decade and whose singles have been featured regularly in TV & film. Jen is based in California, where she produces Double Virgo events. Jen has played many events including Sydney Mardi Gras, Milkshake Festival (Amsterdam), Yo! Sissy Fest (Berlin), Brooklyn Academy of Music & more, and has shared bills with many artists, including Peaches, Blessed Madonna, Hercules & Love Affair, DJ Holographic, and others."
