Guzheng Fusion

This Chinese guzheng musician graduated from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and plays a fusion of Chinese and Western music, bridging cultures and traditions. She is a very unique guzheng player — the first guzheng musician to enter the US mainstream television on NBC and CBS. She not only plays classical Chinese zither music, but also uses the Western way of playing American rock and guitar music. She stands when playing the guzheng, sometimes dancing with the rhythm of the music, full of pure and vivid and rich passion, integrating  Western music elements with her love of tradional Chinese music. She can perform solo, or with a percussionist and backing music.
