When he was old enough to get a job, he started working at various record stores, but all his earnings went right back into buying music. He majored in radio broadcasting, soon becoming the music director for his college radio station, and won an award for broadcaster of the year. He became a DJ in 2005, and immediately started spinning 4 nights a week at various bars and clubs. His day job was at a big name radio station doing audio editing for Ryan Seacrest and voice over work for ads. He eventually landed his own late night show, acting as both music director and host. He also held a small internship at a major record label, as well as a semi major talent agency.
In 2010 he started a weekly event in San Francisco called Ritual, which lasted for 6+ years and had an average of 700 attendees every Thursday. They also expanded into Los Angeles for a year. Later, he became a music director for another commercial radio station, Live 105, for their program Wobble Wednesday. He was on the cover of the SF Bay Guardian newspaper in 2014 and won their annual Goldie award for best DJ in San Francisco.
in 2016 he became the co-host of Turbo Drive, which is the longest running, and largest monthly Synthwave event in the world. He would later become a manager and talent buyer at DNA Lounge nightclub and then the General Manager at Temple Nightclub in SF. His current projects are UNPLUG at Cat Club every Sunday, and The MVP (Music Video Party) where he spins current and classic music videos on a giant screen.
