AgapéSoul is a Modern Soul band based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Led by bassist/producer Darryl Anders, the band delivers a musical experience that is all about Love, Soul …and undeniably funky grooves, destined to stand the test of time. 

Before stepping out as a bandleader, Anders built a reputation as a solid sideman with an impeccable sense of time, tone and a mile-deep pocket. His credits include gigs with funk and soul legends Tower of Power, Zigaboo Modeliste, and Booker T. Jones, as well as Grammy-winning songwriter Bonnie Hayes, and two-time Grammy-nominee Ledisi.

Besides being highly-skilled purveyors of soulful originals and definitive covers, AgapéSoul represents a movement that is at once innovative and deeply-rooted in a continuum; a new voice of music from the “True School.” Their goal is to bring something positive to listeners.
